7-day maceration with the skins and 50% of the grape clusters were destemmed.  The Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris are perfectly blended together with Pinot Noir providing juicy, fruity flavors and the Pinot Gris adding richness and spiciness. Still, this wine retains a light feel to it, making it a perfectly chillable red that goes down way too easy. All of the wines from this domain are very stable, even though the winemaker does not add any sulfites. Yves Amberg is regarded as one of the most skilled and influential winemakers in Alsace, France.
